Undeniable Facts

1. G W Bush went into Office as President with a balanced budget, an economic surplus, a mostly healthy economy and relative peace.
2. G W Bush increased spending on defense and so called homeland security, gave away the surplus, caused a trillion dollar deficit, ruined the economy and completely destroyed the United States reputation abroad.
3.  President Obama inherited that mess..   a Republican mess....
4. President Obama spared the auto industry and now they are coming back, save some jobs and created a few others, has at least attemped to help people with healthcare, and has done some good to restore faith in Americans.
5. and yet.... the Republicans would sell us that they have the answers and they care about people struggling  to make ends meet... a millionaire can't possibly understand choosing whether to pay the  electric bill or groceries... My memory maybe be not so good but I remember the Bush years.... and while we aren't where we should be... we are at least moving that direction....I like moving forward ....not recoiling back into the dark ages
